This is a very exciting week for us at Rareview Interactive. For about a year now, we have been building a project management tool that we hoped would function and look better than Basecamp. Projecturf has finally launched and we’ve already started to sign up new users. This is our first public release of a software application that was built in-house and we’ve hit the ground running!

Projecturf grew out of a desire to share our project management app with other users. It used to be called RareviewLabs and we’ve been using a variation of it for the past 5 years or so. Many clients commented on how great it was and how simple it was to use, so we decided to re-design it, add a host of new features, and release it for others. During this process, we kept two things at the forefront of our minds; style/design and functionality.

Because Projecturf is such a great looking application, and because we’ve added three sections to it that are totally geared towards our industry, it’s ideal for designers, developers, agencies, and freelancers (although it can be used by anyone, and these sections can be turned off). You can customize your account with your own logo, color scheme, and URL without compromising the integrity of the style / design. It’s a snap to create and manage projects and there are so many cool features I can’t list them all here. We have a tour on our website, www.projecturf.com, so be sure to check that out. And all paid accounts come with 30 days free, so you can see for yourself how great this project management tool really is.

Our developers and designers worked very hard on this product and I want to publicly thank them all. It turned out better than I had hoped! We have a long list of features we’re going to be working on in the upcoming months, so Projecturf will only get better! Stay tuned…and please tell us how we can improve it.
